Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any suggestions for novice blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

Anyone who advises not visiting that spectacular museum simply because she wasn’t permitted to take photos should have gone to the zoo instead. Evergreen should be visited by people who want to appreciate its treasures, not bloggers who want material for a “show and tell” cultural exposition.

a year or two after the zine was over I sent random postcards to people who had written to my zine over a year before… one or two in prison so who knows if they ever got my mail

Of course, it went both ways. I thought it was awesome to get your postcards, letters, etc. I may still have them stashed away somewhere in a box with some old copies of the Pressed Press.
